Renting Out Taxi Plates
Can Taxi Plates Be Rented Out?
Taxis have been vehicles serving public transportation in our country and the world for many years. Individuals who do not want to enter crowded environments prefer taxi transportation over other public transport. Today, each city has a certain number of taxis determined by its population. These numbers may not change easily, especially in large cities, and new taxi plates are not put up for sale. Istanbul is the biggest example of this. However, sites like kaletaksi.com, which provide taxi plate rental services, come into play at this point.
Features of Taxi Plates
Today, not everyone who owns a taxi plate operates a taxi. One of the reasons for this is that they do not drive themselves. However, these individuals can rent out their taxi plates if they wish. This is a common situation, especially in Istanbul, where there are 17,395 official taxi plates. For example, the last taxi plate tender in Istanbul was held in 1989. Therefore, a company that wants to operate a taxi can use your plate through rental. After the temporary transfer procedures for these plates are completed, you earn a daily rental fee based on the amount agreed upon with the company. In Turkey, as everyone knows, "T" plates are used for taxis. These plates are commercial yellow taxi plates officially recognized by the state. However, illegal taxi services, which have become a major problem today, are encountered especially in large cities and create more and more problems every day. Tenders for taxi plates are held by the state at various times, especially through local governments. These tenders are made according to the city's population, population growth, and taxi needs. There is no specific time, date, or period. Anyone who wants to buy a taxi plate can participate in these tenders. However, they are especially entered for investment purposes. For this reason, after a while, these plates are rented out to commercial companies, thus generating a source of income. You can contact kaletaksi.com for your taxi plate rental, purchase, and sale transactions.
