Spare Part Warranty Period

Spare Part Warranty Period

What is an Original Spare Part?

For car owners, the warranty period of a spare part is as important as the spare part itself. The longer the warranty period of the original or equivalent part fitted in place of a replaced part, the higher its quality.

Spare Part Selection

As the name suggests, original products are products manufactured by the vehicle's manufacturer and offered to the spare part market with the company's warranty. Original products are more expensive than aftermarket parts. However, their warranty period is also longer. Used spare parts, on the other hand, are products obtained from scrapped vehicles. These products are not new; since they are used, they do not have a warranty period. However, used products are parts that reduce the vehicle's lifespan and pose risks to life and property safety. When replacing parts in their vehicles, drivers protect their own lives and the lives of others on the road by preferring new and, if possible, original products instead of used parts. Regardless of whether they are original or aftermarket, guaranteed and new products should be preferred when purchasing parts. If any problem is experienced with products sold with invoices and warranties, they are replaced within the warranty period. This is a significant advantage. Additionally, used products may be worn out and aged due to previous use. This may necessitate replacing the same part again in a short period.
